Last week, my friend Steph forwarded me a training course for internet lead generation. It peaked my interest for two reasons, first I’ve been t
hrowing around the idea of substantially increasing my web presence with regards to getting leads. Second, anything Step
h sends my way I know is going to give me more value then I actually pay for.
I’m not going to say which product I purchased, because I don’t want you all thinking that I’m just looking to make a few bucks. I bought this program so I could use it and along they way I’d blog about my experiences as well as give a few tips as I figure things out.
As of right now I’ve gone through the introduction videos. I know a lot about SEO and all the tools out there that one can use. With that being said, I am going to quickly be able to tell if this guy is full of crap or knows what he is talking about. What I’m looking for to get out of this course is a plan of attack. Even though I know a lot about SEO, it takes a lot of time to put together a plan and then be able to follow it. Hopefully with this course I can just sit down at my computer at 9:00 at night, after I put the baby to sleep, and charge through the material.
The first module is about creating a Google Places site. I’ve done this in the past to a minimal extent, so I’m looking forward to seeing what the author recommends be done. I’ll post more information as I finish the module, so stay tuned.
If anyone else has had success with attracting leads over the internet I’d love to hear from you.
